Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a warehouse supervisor in Kyle, TX to lead a team on the warehouse floor, ensuring productivity, quality and safety while meeting deadlines and budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, safety focus, and solid communication skills to coach staff, conduct reviews, and coordinate workloads. A high school diploma is required, with preferred Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate with plant manager, sales staff and warehouse personnel.
• Demonstrates ability to understand equipment and tolerances from past experience.
• Warehouse experience with forklift, packing and measuring.
• Demonstrates successful leadership and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet all production and distribution objectives within budget.
• Coach and develop team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and handle disciplinary functions.
• Coordinate, assign and review work.
• Direct staff on work priorities.
• Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed.
• Maintain timely communication with customers and suppliers.
• Keep records and handle administrative duties.
• Report accidents or incidents to management within 24 hours.
• Monitor safety conditions and take corrective action.
• Apply problem-solving methods to resolve quality issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Work on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
• Meet company attribute and competency expectations.
