Job summary

Waste Management is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician for an on-site role in the United States. The position offers a pay range of $29-$40 per hour, with stable hours, uniforms and PPE, and comprehensive training.

The role involves maintaining balers, conveyors, motors, and related equipment, with potential night shifts and overtime. You'll report to the Plant Maintenance Manager and contribute to safe, efficient plant operations while following Waste Management Safety policies and OSHA

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and diagnose/repair major equipment (balers, conveyors, motors, bearings, etc.).
• Diagnose issues, repair, and ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work with limited supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
