Job summary

Waste Management is seeking a Senior Plant Maintenance Technician to keep our processing facility running safely and efficiently on 3rd shift. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment, and lead repairs on balers, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes, reporting to the Plant Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and diagnose/repair/ rebuild major equipment and components.
• Inspect and repair balers, conveyors, motors, gearboxes and other plant equipment.
• Respond to emergency breakdown service calls and minimize downtime.
• Follow safety procedures per OSHA and Waste Management standards.
• Maintain Daily Equipment Inspections backlog and support production schedules.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment performance and product quality.
