Job summary

Laboratory Sciences of Arizona invites a Phlebotomist to support specimen collection, labeling, and entry into the LIS across hospital/PSC/mobile sites. You’ll handle pre- and post-analytical steps, ensure patient ID accuracy, and follow SOPs and HIPAA requirements.

Shifts are nights (10:00pm–6:30am), 32 hours/week with rotating weekends/holidays. New grads start at $19/hr; experienced staff (3–11+ yrs) earn $21.07–$23.36/hr depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology beneficial.
• Experience in customer service is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collect and label specimens ensuring correct patient identification.
• Enter patient and test data into the laboratory information system.
• Prepare samples for analysis and support pre/post-analytical processes.
• Maintain quality and HIPAA compliance, assist in related duties.
