Job summary

ACL Laboratories in Burlington, WI seeks a phlebotomist for 3rd shift. Tasks include venipuncture, specimen collection from newborn to adult patients, proper labeling, and testing under CLIA guidelines.

35 hours per week, 7-on/7-off, 10-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 6:30 AM, rotating weekends and holidays. Qualifications: High School Graduate, no experience required; strong computer and communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge and experience in phlebotomy or related laboratory function.
• Basic computer skills including experience with computer software and data entry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Verifies positive patient identification to ensure patient safety.
• Performs venipuncture and collects specimens as per protocol.
• Labels specimens and ensures they are suitable for testing.
• Assists with billing and other business functions as needed.
• Maintains inventory and supplies/equipment.
• Performs limited testing under CLIA guidelines.
