Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D).
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of PA at hire or sit for boards and obtain licensure within 120 days.
• Preferred Doctorate degree in Pharmacy; Hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions: Prospective drug review; assess and resolve drug-related problems; ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective therapies.
• Drug information and patient interventions:Provide accurate drug information; document interventions; collaborate on protocols and guidelines.
• Assist in department management: Supervise and train staff; oversee inventory; ensure compliance with regulations for controlled substances.
• Work environment: Maintain clean, orderly operations; handle computer systems, refills, labeling, and calls.
• Safety: Support performance improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives.
