Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Pharmacist to optimize patient care by promoting safe and cost‑effective therapies, review prescriptions, and monitor drug therapy in a collaborative hospital setting.

The role includes supervising technicians and students, ensuring regulatory compliance, and participating in safety and quality initiatives. On-site work at Monroeville, PA, with opportunities to take on night pharmacist duties when required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in PA and/or NY within 120 days.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Process prescriptions and conduct prospective drug review.
• Provide accurate drug information to health professionals, patients and the public.
• Assist in department management and supervise pharmacy staff.
• Maintain inventory and ensure safety, regulatory compliance for controlled substances.
• Night Pharmacist duties include triaging and resolving nightly pharmacy activities.
