Job summary

M Chest Pharmacy in Houston, TX seeks an Overnight Staff Pharmacist to provide quality pharmaceutical services for long-term-care residents under the PIC. You will evaluate orders, ensure medication accuracy, and oversee dispensing workflows per state and company policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, and interactions.
• Ensure accuracy of filled medications and perform audits of dispensing systems.
• Provide clinical expertise and respond to medication questions.
• Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and staff.
• Follow policies for compounding and IV therapy.
