Job summary

M Chest Pharmacy is seeking an Overnight Staff Pharmacist in Sulphur Springs, TX to support long-term-care and institutional residents. Work hours are 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on a 7-on/7-off cycle, with duties including evaluating orders, ensuring accuracy, and supervising technicians under the Pharmacist-In-Charge.

The role requires a PharmD and Texas license, with leadership and strong communication skills. We offer comprehensive health benefits, a 401k with employer match, and paid holidays/time off.

Qualifications

• Requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) or equivalent.
• Current, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License required.
• Leadership and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, interactions, and geriatric considerations.
• Oversee dispensing workflow and ensure accuracy of medications.
• Conduct audits of dispensing systems and respond to medication questions.
• Assist PIC with directing pharmacy technicians and staff.
• Follow policies and regulatory guidelines, including I.V. therapy procedures.
