Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Operating Room Technician or Surgical Technician program required.
• One year experience as a surgical technician preferred.
• One year Obstetrics Surgical Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs designated direct and indirect age-specific patient care under RN supervision.
• Fluctuates between surgical scrub technician role and unit secretary/receptionist duties to meet department needs in a fast-changing environment.
• Maintains safety, professionalism, and effective communication with the team.
