Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking a Labor and Delivery Scrub Tech to support the obstetric team under RN direction. You will scrub for C-sections, prepare delivery rooms, and assist physicians in the OR with surgical procedures.

This is a full-time, 36-hour-per-week position on nights, weekends, and holidays. The role begins as a Certified Nursing Assistant and provides a pathway to become scrub-certified within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the applicable state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient rooms are ready with equipment and supplies.
• Assist patients with bed baths, ambulation, and hygiene.
• Obtain and document vital signs before, during, and after delivery.
• Prepare the room for vaginal delivery and assist the RN.
• Prepare the room for C-section by scrubbing, setting up instruments, and maintaining sterility.
• Deliver basic patient data to the RN and report changes in condition.
• May perform clerical duties as assigned.
