Job summary

Redeemer Health in the region seeks an LDR Surgical Technician under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting the nursing staff in maintaining day-to-day management of supplies, equipment and inventory supplies, and preparing rooms and equipment with aseptic techniques.

The LDR technician also functions as scrub technician for Cesarean Sections under the RN Circulator. The position provides direct patient care and performs selected therapeutic interventions and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program (Certification preferred).
• CPR certification required or obtained on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with supplies, equipment and inventory in the LDR.
• Prepare rooms and equipment using aseptic techniques.
• Serve as scrub technician for Cesarean sections under RN circulator.
• Provide direct patient care and assist with selected therapeutic interventions.
