RWJBarnabas Health in New Brunswick, NJ seeks a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool. This night-shift, part-time role covers ICU, NICU and ED pediatric environments across the hospital, offering growth opportunities within a supportive team and a strong safety culture.

Must hold an active NJ RN license with BLS; ACLS/PALS required. Previous PICU/PED care and EPIC EMR experience preferred. Salary is hourly and commensurate with experience.

Qualificações

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• 2 years of pediatric critical care, pediatric ED, or neonatal RN experience.
• Experience with central lines, arterial lines, vasoactive infusions or advanced monitoring preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on care with strong clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely care decisions.
• Educate patients and families to ensure they are informed and prepared for next steps.
• Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and support smooth transitions of care.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and ongoing professional growth.
