Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Central Resource Team/Float Pool at Elmhurst Hospital. This full-time night role offers a 36-hour week with 12-hour shifts from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am, including rotating holidays and weekends.

Under RN direction, you will perform patient care tasks to ensure safety and comfort. Requirements include CPR certification and either completion of a nursing assistant training program or six months of patient care experience, plus recent

Qualifications

• CPR certification required (American Heart Association or BLS).
• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or six months of patient care experience.
• Recent hospital PCT experience (at least 6 months).
• Care Companion Course within six months if required by department.
