Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking a System Operations Specialist I to support large-scale clearinghouse and transaction processing for the Fed ACH and Check lines. This role involves real-time operations across three shifts, monitoring core processing platforms, and assisting with incident management and process improvements.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (GED) with preferred associate degree or 2 years relevant experience, plus strong teamwork and communication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or 2 years equivalent experience preferred.
• Entry level working knowledge of critical systems and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale clearinghouse/transaction processing for Fed ACH and Check.
• Provide real-time support across three shifts in a 24x6 model.
• Monitor core processing platforms and satellite subsystems for health and performance.
• Assist with incident management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Participate in projects and cross-team initiatives to improve payment systems.
