Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support decentralized, patient-centered care under RN supervision. The role focuses on measuring and documenting vital signs, moving patients, and communicating concerns to the care team.

At MUHA, the PCT assists with basic treatments, ensures supplies, provides emotional support, and helps maintain clean, safe patient rooms.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Keep patient rooms tidy and sanitized.
• Assist patient with everyday needs (personal hygiene, using the restroom, grooming).
• Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, etc.) or EKG signals and patient condition.
• Assist nursing staff in administering basic treatments.
• Ensure rooms have adequate patient care supplies and linen are clean.
• Provide emotional support and communicate patient needs to the care team.
• Place patient on cardiac monitor and assist with other duties as assigned.
