Job summary

Jackson Memorial Hospital - JHS Workforce Plus is seeking a Nursing Assistant for full-time night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with rotating weekends at rotating locations within the main campus in Miami, FL. The role provides basic hygienic, dietary and minimal nursing care under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma (strongly preferred) and 0–3 years of related experience, with strong communication and organizational skills to support patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma strongly preferred.
• 0–3 years of related experience.
• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work.
• Basic computer and clinical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Helps patients with basic grooming and dressing needs.
• Attends to basic housekeeping duties as needed.
• Keeps the patient company and monitors changes in condition.
• Communicates patient status to supervisor or nurse.
• Follows unit policies and uses PPE as required.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
