Job summary

Englewood Health seeks a Patient Access Registrar to interview patients and collect necessary information for registration. The role requires data entry and accurate record-keeping within the Emergency Dept. and patient access areas, with a focus on service excellence.

Location is Englewood, NJ. Full-time, 8-hour shifts from 11p-7a, Sunday through Thursday, with a minimum pay rate and comprehensive benefits described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Clerical, data entry and typing skills with filing/record keeping.
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred; 5+ years related experience may substitute.
• Some knowledge of computer systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients or representatives to obtain demographic and financial information.
• Perform data entry and record-keeping for patient registration.
