Responsibilities

• Greet patients, answer phones, and enter information into the electronic health record with a courteous demeanor.
• Register patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect point-of-service payments, and document in the system.
• Provide highest level of customer service and assist with wayfinding for patients and visitors.
• Greet patients in person and over the phone, check in and out, and perform visit closures with accuracy.
• Verify eligibility and benefits, collect copays and coinsurance, and document properly.
• Assist staff with clerical duties including copying, scanning, and faxing documents.
• Maintain patient files and respond to inquiries; ensure HIPAA compliance and privacy.
• Keep front desk area clean, organized, and welcoming; follow company policies.
