R365hire is seeking a Supervisor Pastry Cook in Los Angeles, CA for an overnight role. You will lead pastry production, ensure top quality and sanitation, and work closely with the kitchen team to meet restaurant needs.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years pastry line experience and a ServSafe California certification, plus ability to train staff and uphold health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working pastry line, plating desserts, or in a bakery.
• ServSafe California Food Handlers Card required.
• Ability to multitask and maintain high quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Follow all recipes and techniques to ensure pastries meet quality standards.
• Oversee pastry cooks in production, quality and efficiency in the absence of the Executive Pastry Chef.
• Train new team members on pastry production, ingredients, systems and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and health standards in the pastry department.
• Work overnight and coordinate with the kitchen team to meet restaurant needs.
• Monitor equipment and facility cleanliness to comply with safety regulations.
• Communicate discrepancies or issues to the Executive Pastry Chef and packing team.
