Job summary

Mars is hiring a Packaging Operator for the Royal Canin factory team in Lebanon, Tennessee. You will operate and maintain automated packing lines, ensure quality and food safety standards, and assist with sanitation and line readiness. The role runs a 12-hour night shift with a 4 days on/4 days off pattern.

The position requires a high school diploma and experience in food manufacturing. A mechanical background is a plus, and the ability to multi-task is essential for success on the line.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food manufacturing environment and operating high speed packing machines.
• Mechanical background desirable, but not essential
• Ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

• Machine setup and maintenance for automated packing machines and sanitation.
• Troubleshooting and repairs: clear jams, fix faults, maintain glue/ink supplies.
• Quality assurance: perform checks and ensure compliance with Quality, Food Safety standards.
• Safety practices: follow Lockout/Tagout and safe operation procedures.
• Equipment management: perform Cleaning, Inspection, and Lubrication tasks regularly.
