Job summary

Mars at the Royal Canin site in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Grinding Utility Operator to move product, load trailers and complete shipment paperwork. Training is provided. This night shift runs 6pm–6:30am, four days on, four days off, with a 12-hour schedule.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and the ability to work in a team. Experience with SAP or similar systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and forklift experience.
• Ability to work in a team environment and be coachable.
• Passion to work in manufacturing with disciplined initiative.
• Basic math, data entry and health & safety knowledge.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensures raw materials are available for production lines on time.
• Communicates potential shortages to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintains close contact with Operations to prevent delays in manufacture.
• Raises escalations impacting safety, quality and efficiency.
