Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is seeking a Full-Time Package Handler to load, unload, and sort freight accurately and efficiently to ensure timely deliveries. The role includes scanning barcodes, organizing packages by destination, and maintaining a clean warehouse environment.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 10:00 PM, with 10–15 hours of overtime weekly and overtime pay after 40 hours. Wage range is $18.00–$20.00 per hour plus shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles.
• Scan package barcode labels while unloading for tracking purposes.
• Sort each package by zip code, city, or state.
• Stack freight into trailers and routes in a manner to prevent damage and utilize space efficiently.
• Wash fleet vehicles to maintain company image, as needed.
• Perform light custodial duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
