Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery is a family owned and operated company delivering standard, next-day, ground service with a strong Midwest presence. The Part-Time Package Handler will load, unload, and sort freight accurately to ensure timely deliveries.

Evening hours are 4:00PM-8:00PM, with wages of $18.00-20.00 per hour based on experience. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and attention to detail in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and fast label reading skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Unload packages by hand from fleet vehicles.
• Scan package barcode labels during unloading for tracking.
• Sort packages by destination by zip code, city, or state.
• Stack freight to maximize space and protect shipments.
• Wash fleet vehicles and perform light custodial duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
