Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a Night Surgery Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with RNFA to assist, monitor and manage daily patient needs under physician supervision.

The role covers a nocturnist shift (7p–7a) with one weekend night per pay period and includes floor coverage for inpatient orthopedics, new consultations, bedside procedures, and OR assistance across campuses. Applicants must have AMA-accredited PA training or NP degree, NJ RN/APN licensure, board

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an AMA-accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist, monitor, and manage daily patient needs under physician supervision.
• Provide floor coverage for inpatient orthopedic patients, perform new patient consultations
• Assist in the OR and perform bedside procedures as needed; travel between campuses for clinical duties.
