RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a full-time night Advanced Practice Provider for the Surgical/Trauma ICU at the New Brunswick Campus. The role targets candidates with an Acute Care NP or PA background and surgical critical care experience.

Responsibilities include autonomous nighttime patient management, collaboration with the acute care surgical residency, and provision of high-level care for post-trauma and surgical patients in a busy ICU setting in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Acute Care NP program or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• 2-6 years of surgical critical care/ Trauma experience preferred.
• Experience with POCUS and ultrasound placement of lines is also preferred.
• Must be able to work autonomously and be willing to provide support to surgical residency program.
• Will consider graduates of critical care APP fellowships or residency who can demonstrate proficiency in procedures.
