Job summary

Union Depot is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day airport transportation operations in Chicago, IL. You will lead an overnight shift of 25–30 employees, coordinating shuttle routes and bus availability while upholding safety, security, and client requirements. In this role you must respond quickly to service interruptions, communicate clearly, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, 24-hour airport environment.

The schedule runs 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in a 24/7 operations environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety, security, and client requirements.
• Excellent communication and quick decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day airport transportation operations and overnight shift.
• Lead 25–30 staff, respond to service interruptions, and coordinate shuttle routes.
• Ensure service reliability across Terminal 5 and assigned gates, meeting safety and client standards.
• Communicate clearly and make sound decisions in a fast-paced airport setting.
