Job summary

Union Depot is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day airport transportation operations in Chicago, IL. You will lead an overnight shift of 25–30 employees, coordinating shuttle routes and bus availability while upholding safety, security, and client requirements. In this role you must respond quickly to service interruptions, communicate clearly, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, 24-hour airport environment.

The schedule runs 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Under the direction of the General Manager or Senior Field Operations Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of airport transportation operations. This role leads overnight operations, coordinates employee shuttle routes and bus availability, supports service reliability across Terminal 5 and assigned gates, and ensures that all service, safety, security, and client requirements are met. The position requires a hands-on leader who can manage approximately 25-30 employees on a shift, respond quickly to service interruptions, communicate clearly, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, 24-hour airport environment.

Schedule: 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. schedule, including weekends and holidays
