Job summary

The Overnight Manager at 92nd Street Young Men's and Young Women's Hebrew Association will supervise the building’s overnight operations, including cleaning, mechanical and temporary staff. The role also coordinates construction and program related projects.

This position requires 3+ years in a managerial or facility operations role, strong leadership, organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Zoom. Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 pm–7:00 am in New York.

Qualifications

• HD Diploma or equivalency required.
• 3+ years’ experience in a managerial or facility operations environment.
• Strong leadership and the ability to motivate a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse staff.
• Excellent organizational, scheduling, and record keeping skills.
• Proficient with Office and Zoom; familiarity with inventories and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate overnight staff performance.
• Maintain records for attendance, vacation, sick, and backup staff.
• Ensure adequate overnight staffing and that tasks meet standards.
• Work with departments to support operations and resolve issues.
• Respond to emergencies and take appropriate action as needed.
• Conduct daily quality control inspections for cleanliness and safety.
• Complete daily inspection reports for leadership review.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
