Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager for the night shift (Sat.–Mon., 6pm–6am) at the Northlake site. You will oversee day-to-day warehousing, receiving, and shipping activities, plan inbound/outbound volume, and supervise staffing, training, and performance evaluations to meet service and cost objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in logistics, and ability to drive efficiency while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7+ years in logistics/distribution.
• 5+ years in supervisory role.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems for safe, profitable operations in accordance with policies.
• Manage operations to meet productivity and service goals and client SLAs.
• Drive Continuous Improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Meet client KPIs and quality system requirements.
• Lead and coach staff, conduct performance evaluations, and address issues.
• Coordinate hiring, training, and professional development with HR.
