Job summary

The Home Depot offers a Night Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (NOASM-IT) program. Trainees gain hands-on experience under a Store Manager and learn to lead overnight freight, collaborate with NRMs, and develop strategies to boost sales and store profitability.

During the up-to-6 week training, NOASM-ITs work with store teams to master staffing, stock control, safety compliance, and the execution of core retail responsibilities as they prepare for a full-time leadership role.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 3+ years of work experience in retail or store operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Associates to deliver strong customer service and model GET culture.
• Oversee opening/closing MOD and store-wide operational priorities.
• Ensure safety, hazmat compliance, and adherence to SOPs.
• Plan merchandise placement, signing, and inventory integrity with ASM/partners.
• Participate in a structured training program to prepare for an Assistant Manager role.
