All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As an Night Operations Department Supervisor, this means:
The Night Operations Department Supervisor is primarily responsible for leading and enabling a team of associates to deliver the best possible customer experience in the store. This includes coaching and training, delegating, following up on daily tasks, managing performance, and ensuring department coverage. The role impacts Lowe’s mission by planning, scheduling, monitoring, and implementing all non-selling operations, facilitating a superior customer shopping experience and maximizing sales and profitability.
Success in this role requires collaboration and communication with other Department Supervisors and Assistant Store Managers to meet service, operations, and safety objectives. The supervisor must drive efficiencies, teach skills for effective store operations, and communicate issues and recognitions to management.
Safety is a priority; the supervisor conducts safety walks, reports hazards, trains staff, and understands safety and lifting requirements. The role may occasionally involve opening or closing the store or serving as manager-on-duty (MOD).
Travel is not regular but may be required for meetings, training, or supporting other stores.
If required by law, you must obtain a sales license within 60 days of employment.
