Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center is seeking an NYP nursing attendant for night shifts. You will support bedside care, monitor vitals, assist with meals and transport, and work closely with registered nurses to ensure patient comfort.

Qualified candidates are BSN students with clinical rotations or CNA/Nursing Attendant experience, and must hold BLS certification. The role requires on-site presence at NYP facilities in New York, NY and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• BSN student currently enrolled with at least one clinical rotation completed.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS training from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor blood pressure, temperature, pulse and respiration.
• Assist with meals and safe patient transport.
• Provide comfort and companionship under RN supervision.
• Collaborate with Nurses and ICU Technicians to maintain patient flow.
