Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Nursing Attendant (Part Time) to support bedside care and patient comfort at NYP/Queens Hospital. You will monitor vitals, assist with meals and safe transport, and collaborate with Nurses and ICU Technicians in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires prior Nurse’s aide experience or approved training, BLS certification, and the ability to work 2-3 shifts weekly with potential weekend requirements. On-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• Previous Nurse’s aide experience in a hospital setting or approved Nurse Aid training program.
• Currently enrolled in a BSN program or completed a Nurse Aid training program.
• Must have BLS certification from AHA.

Responsibilities

• Monitor blood pressure, pulse, temperature and respiration for patients.
• Provide meals delivery and safe patient transport as needed.
• Assist nurses with direct patient care under supervision.
• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable patient environment.
• Demonstrate compassionate patient focus and teamwork.
