Baptist Health System, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 3G/H telemetry/medical–surgical unit. This full-time, night-shift position supports RN care by performing essential nursing tasks on a 37-bed unit specializing in orthopedic/neuro/spine and stroke care.

The role involves direct patient care, vital signs documentation, and routine procedures under supervision, with opportunities for growth in a busy hospital environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Current KY Nurse Aide Certification, or completion of first year of Nursing program with clinical rotation validation.
• Basic Life Support - must provide certification within 30 days of hire if not already held.

Mansioni

• Provides direct patient care including hygiene, mobility, toileting, feeding and positioning.
• Documents vital signs, intake/output, weights, specimens and other patient data.
• Performs delegated clinical procedures such as blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, and venipuncture.
• Assists with admissions, transfers, discharges and procedures.
• Performs clerical and unit coordination duties; manages patient charts and physician orders.
• Maintains supplies, equipment and a safe patient care environment.
• Responds to patient needs and emergencies with compassionate, respectful care.
