Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 2F/G Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. Working under the direction of an RN, you will provide direct patient care and support services to patients and families, assisting with examinations, treatments, and daily care in a fast-paced telemetry environment.

Night shift opportunities exist; full-time and part-time schedules may be available to meet department needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification required or completion of first-year nursing school with clinical validation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; obtain within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or licensed care team member, provide direct patient care and support services to patients and families.
• Perform selected nursing procedures and routine duties to assist medical and nursing personnel in examination, treatment, and overall patient care.
