Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains staffing plan for supervised departments.
• Manages daily unit operations and personnel.
• Provides orientation/education for staff.
• Monitors staff performance and conducts evaluations.
• Directs safe patient care delivery in coordination with physicians.
• Participates in interviewing and hiring.
• Ensures compliance with policies, safety and regulatory standards.
• Leads quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Mentors staff and supports communication with patients and families.
