Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking an experienced RN supervisor for the night shift, providing clinical and administrative leadership after hours. You will oversee hospital personnel, coordinate resources, and ensure alignment with department goals in a challenging, patient-centered environment.

The role requires an RN with ADN and a BLS/ACLS certification, plus 3+ years of nursing experience and 1+ year in a supervisory capacity. This is a part-time, on-site position at our Denver facility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year of supervisor or charge nurse leadership experience.
• 3+ years of nursing experience.
• RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative supervision after hours.
• Manage hospital personnel and resources to meet standards and goals.
• Reassign staff to optimize skills and workloads.
• Conduct rounds to identify problems and coordinate resolutions.
• Review hospital activity reports and take appropriate actions.
• Participate in committees and meetings with management.
• Coordinate resources for unanticipated hospital situations.
• Collaborate with nursing leaders to coordinate hospital activities.
• Communicate follow-up and provide temporary solutions.
• Respond to emergencies.
