Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN, BS or MSN required.
• Masters degree in a related field preferred.
• Three years acute care nursing experience and three years supervisory/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures administrative continuity to staff, patients, and families while acting as a liaison for the hospital executive director on call and the patient care services management team.
• Collaborates with Nursing Management and Nursing Staffing Office to lead staffing decisions during assigned hours.
• Analyzes trends in resource utilization and recommends changes to Nursing Director/Manager.
• Coordinates and conducts Daily Debriefings including weekends and holidays.
• Serves as on-site liaison for Hospital Administrator on-call and communicates with media when needed.
