Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan is responsible for applying the nursing process to deliver individualized resident care during night shifts (6pm–6:30am). This role collaborates with residents, families and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care within a Christian, not-for-profit setting.

Requirements include a nationally accredited nursing program, an RN license, and preferred Bachelor’s in Nursing with potential for a sign-on bonus. Location: Canistota, SD.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license and multi-state licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Coordinate resident assessment, education and care with interdisciplinary team.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
