Job summary
AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to oversee pediatric and women’s health units with clinical and operational responsibilities. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate patient care across NICU, PICU, OB, and pediatric services, and respond to emergencies while ensuring quality and safety standards.
The role requires RN licensure, leadership experience, and CN3/CN4 preferred; strong communication, budgeting, and staff development skills are essential.

- Leadership, critical thinking and clinical practice knowledge.
- Effectiveness and efficiency in meeting administrative responsibilities, fiscal responsibility and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Rounds and assesses patient care units to evaluate patient conditions and staffing needs.
- Advises and directs nursing personnel, responds to emergencies, and manages bed assignments.
- Acts as liaison for patient movement and informs campus leaders during significant events.
- Directs nursing supervisors, monitors performance, and participates in quality initiatives.
