Florida Medical Clinic seeks a Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager to lead night shift operations in the Surgical Inpatient Unit. Responsible for patient flow, staffing with acuity, and delivering high-quality care within established policies.

The CANM collaborates with Nursing Operations leadership, mentors staff, and supports a culture of safety and excellence in a busy acute care environment.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Minimum one year as a registered nurse; acute care experience preferred.
• Current Florida RN license or NLC.
• Current BLS certification.
• Certification in area of expertise; preferred.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC certifications preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manages staffing assignments for oncoming and off going shifts based on patient acuity.
• Coordinates patient flow with Administrative Supervisors, Care Coordinators, and Discharge Planners to achieve outcomes.
• Monitors patient status and supports care across the unit according to physician orders and policies.
• Leading safety huddles and promoting continuous improvement in patient care and outcomes.
