Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for its NICU unit in Norman, Oklahoma. The RN will assess and reassess care needs, perform nursing diagnoses, coordinate care, and evaluate outcomes in a Level III NICU with a team of neonatologists and NPs.

The role includes leadership responsibilities during shifts and ACLS maintenance. Night shift 7p-7a, full-time, with evening, night, and weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN required; BSN/MSN preferred.
• 1 year RN experience preferred.
• Current OK RN license and BLS/ACLS required or retraining during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assess and reassess health care needs for patients.
• Perform nursing diagnoses and determine outcomes.
• Coordinate and implement care using evidence-based practice.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans.
• Provide professional nursing practice and leadership in absence of Nurse Manager.
• Maintain ACLS.
• Oversee bedside handoff at shift changes.
