Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support patient care. You will complete 2–3 weeks of nursing education to learn our electronic health system, hospital safety, disengagement skills, restraints, and unlicensed assistive partner skills during onboarding.

You will join a dedicated nursing team and help deliver high-quality patient experiences. The role includes ADL support, vitals collection, and assisting with procedures, with care documented in EPIC.

Qualifications

• Completion of CNA training program within last five years.
• Must have completed one clinical rotation in RN or LPN program within past 12 months.
• Current BLS CPR certification from ARC or AHA.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide patient care treatments including monitoring vitals, weights, and intake/output.
• Discontinue IVs and monitor restraints as directed.
• Respond to patient call lights and communicate with patients and visitors.
• Document and chart in the electronic health record; support nurses with procedures.
