Job summary

SupportWorks Housing in Charlottesville is seeking a Night Monitor - On Call (midnight–8:00 am) to help maintain safety at our newly opened property. This on-call, unpaid position pays only when responding to after-hours events, with housing and utilities provided during on-site duty.

You will monitor security from midnight to 8:00 am, respond to incidents and emergencies, assist residents with building access during lockouts, file written reports, and coordinate with the Senior Property Manager

Responsibilities

• Monitor building security from 12:00 midnight to 8:00 a.m.
• Respond to confrontational and emergency situations.
• Assist residents in accessing the building during lockouts.
• Prepare written incident reports.
• Meet with the Senior Property Manager about policy violations during overnight hours.
• Fill in at the front desk as appropriate.

The Role: Night Monitor - On Call (midnight-8:00 am)

The Night Monitor lives onsite at the property with housing and utilities at no cost! The position is an on-call position only, and is unpaid except when responding to an after-hours situation at the property.

What You'll Do:

You’ll be responsible for monitoring the security of the building between 12:00 midnight and 8:00 a.m. Respond to all confrontational & emergency situations. Respond to resident needs to access the building in event of lockout. Prepare written incident reports. Meet with the Senior Property Manager regarding any resident who violates policy during overnight hours. Fill in at the front desk as appropriate.

Salary: $14.50 - $15.19 per hour
