Job summary

fairlife, LLC in Coopersville, MI is seeking a dedicated Milk Receiving Operator to join our night shift operations. You will receive and unload milk, perform quality testing, CIP and sanitation, and help maintain a clean, audit-ready environment.

Hours are 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule; you will work every other weekend. We offer comprehensive benefits, competitive pay and opportunities to develop skills in a safety-focused dairy facility.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety procedures and use safety equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot small problems and seek input when needed.
• Willingness to ask for assistance when the process is unclear.
• Proficiency in English: written and verbal communication.
• Basic math and computational skills required.
• Ability to operate equipment after training.

Responsibilities

• Receive and load milk while meeting food safety and quality requirements.
• Inspect, document, and transfer product from supplier to raw material silo.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Test and document milk loads.
• CIP of silos, lines, and raw milk tankers.
• Take samples for QA testing and monitor CIP chemistry.
• Maintain clean, audit-ready work area and follow GMP rules.
• Assist maintenance with pumps, valves, and heat exchangers as needed.
• Develop and train team members.
• Report any damage or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
