Job summary

Henry Ford Health Macomb Hospital is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the MICU team for night shifts. This role delivers comprehensive inpatient care to critically ill patients as a first-line provider, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, and coordination with intensivists and staff.

Strong credentialing and excellent collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Critical Care/MICU experience as an APP preferred.
• NP or PA graduate from an accredited program.
• National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA).
• BLS required; ACLS required (or obtained after hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care to critically ill patients in the MICU.
• Perform assessments, diagnose, treat, educate, and coordinate care with the care team.
• Lead procedures consistent with credentialing and experience.
