Henry Ford Health Macomb Hospital seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Critical Care team in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The role provides inpatient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, and care coordination with the multidisciplinary team.

Minimum of one year ICU experience as an Advanced Practice Provider is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of ICU experience as an Advanced Practice Provider is required.
• NP or PA graduate from an accredited program.
• National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA) required.
• BLS required; ACLS required (or obtained after hire).

Responsabilités

• Provide inpatient care to critically ill patients in the SICU, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and coordination with the care team.
• Perform procedures consistent with credentialing, training, and experience.
• Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, nursing staff, patients, and families to optimize outcomes.
