Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate scientific field.

• Experience with a clinical laboratory computer system and PC skills.

• Able to work independently, under pressure; maintain organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing procedures, quality control and data entry in the Microbiology Division.
• Process specimens for microbiological cultures, molecular and serologic testing; interpret smears for microorganisms.
• Perform antibiotic susceptibility testing and report results accurately.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with lab policies and procedures.
