MarinHealth Medical Center in Greenbrae, CA, is seeking a part-time Clinical Lab Scientist II for the Laboratories-Clinical division. The candidate will perform clinical laboratory procedures during night shifts, with a 35-hour week and responsibilities across multiple lab disciplines.

Requirements include a BA/BS in biology/chemistry or related science, a California CLS-L license, and three years of hospital lab experience or equivalent with Marin General Hospital.

Qualifications

• Must have a BA/BS in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science, or other related science.
• Minimum of three years general laboratory experience in a hospital or acute care setting or three (3) continuous years with Marin General Hospital.
• Lic Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS-L) required at hire; IAMTAC within 30 days of hire; BLS preferred at hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform clinical laboratory procedures.
• Maintain records and ensure turnaround time adherence.
• Operate and calibrate laboratory instrumentation and troubleshoot as needed.
• Direct and instruct others in laboratory procedures and participate in competency and training activities.
